Some bowls are purely decorative with embellishments while others can, on occasion, contain dried or wrapped food. The bowls continue to evolve in different ways. I have found the paper when layered in making the bowls, is strong and when coated with a protective coating can be refreshed by lightly wiping with a moist paper or cloth.
