Plant Papers

During my last days of working as a potter I threw a series of molds that I could use to make paper bowls. Over the years they have been used many times to make bowls of different types and sizes. Some bowls are purely decorative with embellishments while others can, on occasion, contain dried or wrapped food. The bowls continue to evolve in different ways. I have found the paper, when layered in making the bowls, is strong and when coated with a protective coating can be refreshed by lightly wiping with a moist paper or cloth.
